TSM charity golf dinner

to my fellow committee members. here are some task needed to be done

TSM Charity Golf 2009

Perth, Australia. 5-9 August 2009

IMORTANT:

This is an event FOR STUDENTS to enjoy & benefit from the experience.

YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will be arrive in Perth on Friday, 7^th August & leave on 9^th August (Sunday). Other TSM members will arrive on 5^th August.

Things that students need to arrange/organize:

1. Invitation list for dinner.

· Provide list of only relevant people that should be invited to dinner function.

· Seek assistance and advice from Malaysian Consulate in Perth regarding this list.

· Provide this list to Encik Suleiman ASAP.

2. Find out if any students are interested to join for golf tournament.

· Extremely limited places, because golf is meant to be a close program for TSM members.

· Students involved must be relevant, know how to play golf & associated with Kelab UMNO (committee members).

3. Receiving TSM members when they arrive.

· A simple reception to receive the TSM members when they arrive from Malaysia.

· MSD, Consulate, High Comm to be involved.

· Seek assistance from Pak Khamis.

4. Dinner (MOST IMPORTANT!) – Jointly organized by students & TSM.

· Preferably on evening of 8^th August (Saturday evening) @ Hyatt Hotel.

· Students arrange program, must get approval from TSM.

· Speeches:

i. UMNO Western Australia President (me)

ii. Chairperson, BPN Australia/New Zealand

iii. YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin

· Dinner approximately 400 people

i. 100 TSM Members

ii. 30 Officials (MSD, Consulate, High Comm, MATRADE etc)

iii. 270 Students (including representatives from other Kelab UMNO in Au/NZ).

· Kelab UMNO WA needs to only organize the program. They don’t need to arrange for bookings, food etc as this would be done by TSM Organization. Students only assist when asked to.

· Students that come to dinner must be from all races (don’t want it to look like it is an all Malay event). Invite student leaders from other WA Malaysian student organizations.

· Theme of dinner must reflect 1Malaysia.

· Performances must be entertaining, creative, reaction & interaction with audience (students & guests). Example: poco-poco (they mentioned this)

· All races must participate in performances to reflect 1Malaysia concept.

· Must always remember, this is a Kelab UMNO event. We must lead and show a good example!

· Make this a very very memorable event!!! They said that Kelab UMNO in Indonesia organizes very good and memorable programs and dinners, so Kelab UMNO in Australia must show that we can do it as well!

5. Closed door meeting with BPN Umno Australia/New Zealand chairpersons.

· Preferably on Friday evening, after Golf session.

· Invite all presidents: 7 Australia, 4 New Zealand (Total 11).

· All air fare & accommodation is paid by TSM.

· These representatives are NOT required to play golf.

Based on information given above, please provide tentative itinerary to Encik Suleiman for the whole 5 days and most importantly program for dinner.
